[ Another Year Older ]

So the 21st birthday was great! was surprised at work with a cake from my awesome coworkers, hung out with friends and family for dinner and cake and ice cream, late dinner with more friends and a few drinks and topped off the night with a card game *that i whopped butt in!*
so overall, it was good. and yes, i felt fine when i woke up the next morning.
from the stories i've heard about other people's 21st birthdays, i'm glad i will remember the night of my 21st!! haha
well, here's to another year. christmas is 2 days away and new years is 9.

December already!

That's right! The first of December. I can't believe it! So much has happened this year. The good, the bad, and the not so pretty. But we've made it through another year. My birthday and Christmas are right around the corner. Business is picking up for the holidays and I'm starting to see more and more Christmas stuff in stores, Christmas tree lots, and hearing Christmas tunes all over. Oh how I love this time of year.
*Things that happened this weekend: Saturday Reed killed his first deer or the season. 110 lbs doe. very happy =)
I am sickly, dang cold! Didn't go to work today
I hung out with Mom and did some shopping.
Got to see Ang & Dev.
Cards with Ryan & Melis.
Some Christmas shopping.
So yep, it was a pretty busy one.
*Good news: tomorrow is my day off so hopefully i can get some more shopping done, rest up and hopefully get over this cold soon!

Little Bit o' Me

[ i'm back! ]

so my internet comes and goes so bare with me if i don't post very often. i will try to post when i can =)
as you know, today is November 20 - that means...
1 MONTH until my 21st birthday. weird, huh? this year flew by. a lot has happened this year. lots of changes in mine, my friends', and my familys' lives.
as thanksgiving will be in a week, i have so much to be thankful for. even though i may not show my appreciation for things or of people very often, i am very thankful.
i'm looking forward to being with family and eatin momma's mashed taters.. and some good ol pumpkin pie! yummm! oh and don't forget the home made dressing and turkey, man oh man!
anyway. things are going quite well. work is getting busy. people are starting to shop for the holiday season so we are staying busy! i guess i better get busy on that too!
*Country Music Update: i got the new Zac Brown Band CD The Foundation and it's great! there are some very interesting songs that i can't help but laugh at... Sic 'Em On A Chicken for instance! haha good stuff. and of course Chicken Fried - ohhh yeah.
*Plans for the weekend: Reed and I are hunting on some friends' property so hopefully we can see a deer or two or maybe even kill a big buck! wish us luck!

Well that's about it for now. i will get back to you, hopefully sooner than later, with more good stuff!
